RoomForTheNew values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process when you visit our website or contact us, why we do so and what rights you have.

Who we are

What data we process

• Contact form: when you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. The form is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards your message to us by email.
• Email and phone: when you email or call us, we process your contact details and the content of your message.
• Website visits: our hosting provider (Vercel) records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, to keep the website secure and working properly.
• Visitor statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit the website and which pages they view. This works without cookies and anonymously: no IP addresses are stored and you cannot be individually identified.

We do not use advertising tools and do not create visitor profiles.

Why we process it

We use your contact details only to respond to your message and, where relevant, to discuss a possible collaboration. This is based on our legitimate interest, or on the preparation of an agreement. Technical data and anonymous statistics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We only share it with the service providers mentioned above (Vercel and FormSubmit). Some of these parties may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case this is based on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we received it, unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. Email melvin@roomforthenew.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
